KI’s Postura+ colour library gets a refresh

 

As of summer 2023, KI’s iconic Postura+ chair will be available in 20 different colours, including 7 brand new tones.

The new colours ensure that the design of any classroom, library, or other educational space can have an ergonomic, durable, and stain-resistant seating solution. This includes the one-piece polypropylene chair, task chairs, high chairs, stools, reverse cantilever chairs, or 4 leg chairs on castors.

The introduction of these new colours means that KI can now deliver a rounded palette of Natural, Chroma, Neon, Muted and Achromatic tones.

Natural - inspired by the sky, sea, and land. It features earthy tones, muted greens, and inky blues that evoke a connection to the natural world and organic environments. This palette creates tranquil atmospheres and is an ideal choice for biophilic designs:

  • Purple Haze (NEW)
  • Misty Brown (NEW)
  • Moss Green (NEW)
  • Nordic Blue (NEW)

Chroma – consists of vivid and saturated hues that deliver on the ‘wow’ factor. This carefully curated palette is best applied with the intention to draw attention and create a strong visual impact. Derived from the foundations of the colour wheel, these shades offer a graphic, statement quality to interior schemes:

  • Poppy Red
  • Sun Yellow
  • Forest Green
  • Ink Blue

Neon – this colour range embodies energy and excitement. They are often used to create bold, eye-catching looks, from a subtle pop of colour to a full-on neon explosion. These vibrant, zest hues will brighten up any space:

  • Grape Crush
  • Tangerine Fizz
  • Lime Zest
  • Aqua Blue

Achromatic – comprising of black and grey shades this colour palette seamlessly blends with elegant and timeless schemes. These moody yet neutral tones work best in minimalist and contemporary designs to facilitate a calming and relaxing ambience.

  • Ashy Grey

Muted – this includes taupe tones and pastel shades. Soft and subtle, they have a soothing effect to build a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere whilst still injecting some colour. They create a sense of harmony and balance, yet elicit sophistication and style:
