BetweenGlassBlinds recently contributed to another education refurbishment

BetweenGlassBlinds recently contributed to another education refurbishment project where integral blinds were an essential part of the privacy requirements.

The Stewards Academy in Harlow, Essex is an exceptional senior school with an excellent reputation. Their aim to is ensure that pupils have the necessary knowledge, skills and attributes to be highly successful, but also to contribute positively to society as well-rounded and respectful citizens.

The Academy has undergone extensive recent renovation in order to further the pupil’s experience. This includes new classrooms, a new construction and technology workshop and a Hair & Makeup vocational workspace.

BetweenGlassBlinds provided integral blind sets in a classroom environment for the Steward Academy project. BGB was able to meet the specific requirements including fully encapsulated, dual operated integral blinds that can be adjusted to provide greater visibility or privacy at a touch. Only BGB units offer the exclusive dual-control functionality, allowing operation from either side of the glass. The units also contain a unique tracking system for the magnet, meaning that the magnet cannot get lost or be removed from the rails. As requested by the client, BGB panels were manufactured with laminate safety glass, offering FD30 fire protection, as well as great acoustic properties.

BetweenGlassBlinds are a leading manufacturer of double-glazed units, complete with fully integrated Venetian or pleated blinds, hermetically sealed between two panes of glass. Both stylish and contemporary in appearance, they are easy to maintain, as the blinds contained within the sealed unit are safe from dust and dirt
